The Military Academy does not require the financial investment of most other colleges, since students don’t have to pay for tuition or room and board. Further, cadets earn a monthly stipend during their time in school. In 2014, this stipend was set at $900 and increased each year.
Can West Point cadets have cell phones?
New Cadets will receive their cell phones during this time (if they brought on R Day) and may be able to make calls/send texts on a limited basis. They will have access to email, usually by mid-week in the event they did not bring their cell phone.
